About The Egyptian Coven
Our line can be traced from the last of the Ptolemies, from the only surviving daughter of Cleopatra, Cleopatra Selene II. After her marriage to Juba II of Numidia and the birth of her daughter Drusilla of Mauretania, our coven’s birth line crosses from BC to AD. In an unbroken line from mother to daughter spanning over two thousand years, we are the keepers of ancient knowledge that has been lost to modern day scholars in the dusty winds of time.
Only our line has remained intact, and only our mastery of magick has transcended the descent of present day “witchcraft”. We do not pretend to be witches, prophetesses, or seers. We are what we have always been, and will always continue to be; caretakers of a bygone magick, divine and true.
Our interpretations of the book of the dead are surpassed by none, as we were entrusted with the original papyrus copies when the Lighthouse of Alexandria burned to the ground by the Roman invaders. Your wishes are ours to command…if your heart is true and your will is strong. Intentions become truth in our coven, as they have been for thousands of years.
About High Priestess Layla
High Priestess Layla has been practicing Egyptian Magick her entire life, alongside her coven. She rose to the rank of High Priestess over a decade ago, under the tutelage of Henuttawy (so named for her love of the Goddess Isis). Thus proving herself as an independent caster and as a coven head. She has experience in all areas of magick and can be empathetic to nearly any case!
